About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to lead the design, development, validation, deployment, and maintenance of features for Citrix Secure Access client for Windows. You will play a key role in leading, designing, and participating in future roadmap, and driving innovation in the overall ZTNA offering.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Implements strategic goals established by functional leadership.
- Design and develop new capabilities in Citrix Secure Access client for Windows.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing, complex customer escalations and improving application performance.
- Responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualising, reasoning and interpretation.
- Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems.
- Problems span a wide range of difficult and unique issues across functions and/or businesses.
- Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organisation, which may include customers or vendors.
- Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organisation.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 4+ years of Software Development Experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, and Windows OS internals
- Strong understanding of network programming and security technologies.
- Good knowledge of L4-L7 network protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Proficiency in network filtering drivers (e.g., NDIS, WFP) is an added advantage
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
- Passion for building performant, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
Education:
Educational qualification for this role includes holding a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech) or higher, in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT), from a top-tier engineering institution.
