IronMountain Solutions is looking for a Senior Systems Software Analyst to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will support Aviation Mission Planning and Airspace Control / Management Systems in a team-focused, dynamic, collaborative, and mentoring environment on Redstone Arsenal. The ideal candidate will possess all the required skills and most of the desired skills.

Duties:

  • Support our customer on Redstone Arsenal as a senior systems analyst. 
  •  Derive requirements from customer intent, ACDDs or Statements of Work.
  • Trace requirements and their verification/validation efforts and outcomes.
  • Interface with customers, stake holders and end-users to ensure products meet need.
  • Track requirements using DOORS and update progress.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds. 

Required Skills:

  • System or software engineer/analyst with seven to ten years’ experience
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
  • Experience in work statement preparation (e.g., Statement of work [SOW], Performance Work Statements [PWS], Technical Directives or Task Description [TD])

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working in an Acquisition Product Office    
  • Exposure to Agile Software Processes
  • Experience with software materiel release processes and AR 770-3
  • Exposure with Software Acquisition Pathway or other Adaptive Acquisition Framework
  • Create specifications and enhancements for software products.
  • Development and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Develop, write, and staff briefings to diverse groups.
  • Strong Risk Management

 Desired Skills: 

  • In-depth understanding of aviation mission planning
  • Understanding of tactical airspace control or management a plus
  • Understanding of Army Design Methodology
  • Understanding of Military Decision-Making Process

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience: 

  • A bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related technical experience is required.
  • Strong organization and record keeping skills.
  • Ability to successfully comprehend and adhere to technical and operational standards/processes.
  • Must be able to effectively interact with Government customers and contractors.

Clearance Requirements: Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Inability to obtain a final security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.

Required Travel: 25%
