About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Quality Assurance Analyst for Consumer, Small and Business Banking – Branch Systems Transformation UAT team.
In this role, you will:
- Document test cases and risk research and create test plans
- Record test progress and results
- Identify and track issues throughout testing
- Perform manual and automated testing
- Consult with users providing advice and direction
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
- Research system features being tested
- Partner with Engineers to develop testing strategy
- Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of in-depth knowledge of testing processes, UAT and System testing/Regression testing
- 4+ years of experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines or workflows, version control, test management, and integrating automation frameworks
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Automation strategy, framework implementation, planning, scripting and execution
- Creating technology solutions for business and communicating value
- Automation framework (data driven, hybrid and behavior driven development concepts), design and enhancements
- Cucumber/BDD – based frameworks
- Selenium with Java – Junit/TestNG framework in Eclipse IDE
- Version control repo like GITHUB and SVN
- Test scheduling and execution on Jenkins, etc.
- ALM/Octane, JIRA or a relevant defect management tool
- Software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality through the entire software development cycle
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
- Hands on experience with any Banking application is preferred
- Hands on expertise with test management tools like JIRA, ALM/Octane, Confluence etc…
- Hands on experience in automation will be an added advantage
- Experience in User Acceptance development & implementation
- Knowledge and in depth understanding of business tools and processes
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Expectation:
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Creation of test strategy, test plans, test scripts, script execution
- Perform Manual and automated testing
- Lead the BRD and FSD reviews.
- Prepare and provide status reporting, defect triage, test summary, testing traceability.
- Lead meetings and reviews as needed with Business teams and other stakeholders.
- Agile testing responsibilities include: grooming sessions, sprint planning and participation, daily SCRUM calls.
- Partner & lead the interactions with the Line of Business, Risk/Compliance, and technology partners across Operations
- Influence & manage the stakeholders across Business/Operations, Technology & Product teams
- Consult with users providing advice and direction
