Sentara Louise Obici hospital is now hiring a Senior systems Administrator !
Systems Administrators are a central part of IT teams that support software functions, data transfers, and network connectivity for computer systems. Their role is to oversee the applications and systems, making routine improvements and updates to ensure the system can handle all system tasks and meet security requirements. System administrators may person tech support for complex issues when other IT professionals need help with a complex ticket.
System Administrators create policies and procedures for documenting problems, making corrections, and communicating both internally and with clients. They research computing tools, determine when to replace critical parts of systems, and develop protocols for integrating new technology while preserving system functions.
A Specialist Professional is a recognized subject matter expert in job areas typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Responsibilities typically include:
• Managing, analyzing, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure systems, and healthcare systems (legacy or new installs).
• Provide support for database and operating system concerns.
• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to provide consultation on complex business applications and processes, with limited oversight from the manager.
• Provide technical support to project team members.
Required Qualification:
Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
8+ years of relevant experience with a degree
10+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Requires experience in Desktop & server support
Experience working in AZURE- SSCM
