Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT systems and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

· System Design & Implementation:

o Design, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, operating systems, and enterprise applications.

o Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and new installations to meet technological advancements and operational demands.

· Microsoft 365 Administration:

o Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

o Administer user accounts, security groups, and permissions across the Microsoft 365 platform.

o Ensure seamless integration between Microsoft 365 services and on-premises systems.

· Microsoft Azure Management:

o Configure and manage resources in Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal cloud performance, security, and scalability.

o Oversee the deployment and maintenance of virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking within Azure.

o Manage cloud cost optimization and implement disaster recovery solutions using Azure’s services.

· Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS):

o Administer and maintain Microsoft Team Foundation Server (or Azure DevOps Server), ensuring continuous integration and deployment pipelines are functioning efficiently.

o Provide support for code repositories, build management, and deployment workflows.

· Server & Network Management:

o Manage physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux and MAC), ensuring their performance, scalability, and reliability.

· Backup & Disaster Recovery:

o Design, implement, and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments.

o Ensure data integrity and availability in the event of an incident, performing regular testing and updates.

· Security Administration:

o Manage system security configurations and updates, ensuring compliance with security policies.

o Implement and manage antivirus solutions

· Automation & Scripting:

o Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to improve system administration tasks and reduce manual intervention.

o Implement tools for system monitoring, alerting, and performance management.

· Collaboration & Support:

o Collaborate with other IT teams to align the infrastructure with business goals.

o Provide guidance and mentoring to operations Engineers.

o Liaise with vendors and service providers for maintenance, support, and purchasing.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.

· Hands-on experience with both Linux and Windows Server environments.

· Good understanding of MDM tools

· Strong experience managing Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).

· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps Server

· Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V).

· Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.

· Certifications such as MCSE, Azure Administrator, or equivalent are a plus.
