Location: Barcelona, Spain

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director/ Senior Strategy Manager Consultant to join our team in Alcura. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic consulting, management, marketing, and strategy development. This role requires a fast learner with exceptional leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence skills who can devise impactful growth strategies, align teams towards overarching goals, and build synergies among companies within the same group.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Consulting Leadership:

  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on enhancing marketing efforts, market access, pricing, market research, and commercial strategy for pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Conduct comprehensive market potential analyses and competitive landscape assessments to support business decisions.
  • Develop operational plans aimed at efficiency improvement and cost reduction in healthcare settings.


Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, optimize market positioning, and increase customer engagement.


Strategic Growth Initiatives:

  • Design and implement effective commercial strategies contributing to substantial growth in service adoption.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration globally and locally with sales, operations, finance, and other departments.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate innovation meetings and workshops with key accounts to identify strategic opportunities.


Building Synergies Among Companies:

  • Identify opportunities for collaboration among companies within the group.
  • Develop strategies that leverage shared resources or market positions for mutual benefit.
  • Facilitate communication channels between different entities to enhance overall business performance.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead direct reports as well as cross-functional teams, promoting a shared mission and effective execution of strategic changes.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.


Qualifications:

  • MBA from a top-tier business school.
  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmaceutics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Strategic Consulting/Management/Director roles within the medtech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of driving growth through strategic initiatives focused on service delivery.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management including building partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams across different geographies.
