Senior Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy

Job Description:

We're looking for a Senior Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy to join our team. You'll report to the Director, Social Marketing & Strategy and will push social creative strategy for our high-profiles CPG snack client.

Only candidates in the New York City area will be considered as some in-office time is to be expected.

• You're a collaborator who combines creative content ideas with smart social media strategies to achieve our goals.
• You'll manage other team members, and lead internal and client meetings.
• You'll deliver ongoing expertise to our teams and clients by identifying problems and finding solutions.
• You'll deliver briefs full of insights, inspiration and updates based on creative feedback and help translate that work into social creative.
• You understand our client's industry and category, and have a POV after auditing industry examples and trends, such as memes, formats, cultural insights, and new social platforms.
• You'll partner with the creative team to push creativity and make sure it aligns with the strategy.
• You'll build knowledge on the macro/micro forces that influence our client's business.
• You're excited to wear multiple hats, including everything from client interaction to planning and calendars, to writing briefs, to helping create content.

Qualifications

• 6 years minimum experience with organic and paid social, some of that at an advertising agency
• Bachelors in Advertising, Marketing or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required
• Expertise in and love for the social space
• Excited by the internet, love that it's ever-changing, and understand how to apply this to clients
• Experience as the daily lead on client businesses and developing client relationships
• Experience managing and mentoring younger talent

Additional Information

The annual salary range for this position is ($78,000 - $126,500). Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
