About Our Opportunity:
MedeAnalytics is seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Consultant. This role reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Consulting to support the sale and delivery of strategic consulting engagements. This client-facing position will guide healthcare payer and provider clients through extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to build various reports and dashboards. The consultant will provide clients with analytical consultative expertise and guidance to create metrics and enable progress towards goals.
The ideal candidate is not new to payer/provider data. Must be proficient in SQL, have experience using a Business Intelligence tool, and leading use cases. This role requires strong data modeling, data mapping, & integration skills coupled with current experience in value-based care, payer operations, and payvider revenue cycle management measures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Through demonstrated analytics, information synthesis, and analytics skills, establishes a deep understanding of the clients to uncover and address the articulated and unarticulated needs and solve complex business problems with effective reporting and analytics solutions.
- Leads ideation sessions using lean principles to develop, document and analyze present state process maps and develop future state models.
- Leads the design, development, and ongoing support of clinical and financial integrated data models and reports used by provider and payer management in decision-making. This includes but is not limited to determining appropriate data transformations and governance strategies needed to provide trusted data sets such as NCQA HEDIS, CMS STARs, revenue cycle management systems, and Definitive Healthcare.
- Maps data from client source data to our data models, writes SQL to load data, and performs data analysis with ETL.
- Delivers presentations of MedeAnalytics solution suite to clients during the pre-sales and sales process.
- Summarizes testing and validation results and be able to communicate and make recommendations on the best course for remediation.
- Creates and maintains data integrity by providing quality data profiling ensuring known constraints to operate in the Client’s environment.
- Increases adoption through collaborative, proactive consultation with clients.
Education, Experience, and Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor of Science); Master’s Degree (MHA or MBA) preferred.
- 7+ Years experience querying data, data interpretation and report generation using modern analytics tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
- 7+ years of sales support experience for large and complex clients including scoping, estimating, and Return of Investment (ROI) models/realization.
- 7+ years of combined in-depth experience with value-based care models, payer operations, and payvider revenue cycle management measures.
- 7+ years of experience in working with MEDITECH Expanse, Cerner, Allscripts, or Epic health information systems
- 7 + years of relevant professional work experience with complex analysis in healthcare data such as HL7, C-CDA, NCQA HEDIS, CMS & STARS, ICD, DRG, CPT, SNOMED CT, LOINC, NDC, Medi-Span, and RxNorm.
- Strong empathy for customers and a passion for driving revenue and growth.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to foster strong professional relationships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex concepts and strategies into clear, actionable information.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ®), Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA®), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR®), Certified Professional Coder (CPC®), and/or Certified Professional in Digital Health Transformation Strategy (CPDHTS®) a plus.
- Experience using AI-powered agents for increased productivity a plus.
Additional Information:
MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $170,000 USD, this role does not include bonus eligibility as part of the compensation package. Please note that actual compensations for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
