We are now looking for a Senior Specialist, Marketing to join the Marketing, Sustainability and Communications team at UPM Plywood in Helsinki, Finland, for a one-year fixed-term position as parental leave substitute.

What you will do

Manage the development, implementation, and follow-up of the annual channel marketing plan in close collaboration with UPM sales teams in Europe

Manage the regional marketing budget and co-marketing relationship with reseller partners to identify their marketing needs, create channel marketing plans, and monitor the implementation and results

Build target audiences, manage campaign data, analyse and optimise the campaigns, generate performance reports, and present the results

Coordinate the production and distribution of branded assets for channel marketing

Plan and coordinate other marketing activities such as exhibitions and customer events in collaboration with reseller partners and their marketing teams

Contribute to improving the digital customer journey and support the sales in adopting modern methods for efficient growth marketing in key markets

Participate in the cross-business digital marketing network and contribute to the development of data-driven marketing at UPM
Who you are
-
You have a degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of work experience in channel marketing or digital marketing

You have proven experience in running well-executed marketing campaigns, managing media spend and optimising campaign performance
-
You have a growth marketer mindset: you know how to work across marketing channels to find new opportunities and use data-driven methods to track the effectiveness of your actions throughout the marketing funnel

You are proficient in digital marketing and know the latest marketing technologies (Salesforce, marketing automation, marketing database, Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO/SEM, social media)

You have good analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data, make data-driven decisions, and illustrate the marketing performance

You are people-oriented, enjoy f2f encounters, and want to develop your understanding of the customer needs and the business environment

Good interpersonal and communications skills are essential in developing the long-term relationships with business partners and getting buy-in for your marketing plans

You have solid written and spoken skills and are fluent in discussing marketing and business topics in English. Proficiency in Finnish, Dutch, German or French is considered as an advantage
