The Position
The Marketing Specialist role is an important role in the extending of Organon’s foundation and presence in Romania and in innovating the way we collaborate and interact within other cluster markets by working with customers and creating state-of-the-art marketing programs for Organon portfolio.
This person will be responsible for driving direct interaction based on face-to-face and digital marketing campaigns across therapeutic areas, recognized HCPs or variety of stakeholders in Romania. Person performing the role will be expected to deliver on marketing plan, programs and activities for Organon portfolio by utilizing different channels. The deliverable should be based on the key components of the Agile way of working, collaboration within an international team and data-driven mindset, both to improve Organon’s position and to reach business results.
The Marketing Specialist will be focused on ideation and governance of campaigns for defined Rx therapeutic areas and brands in Romania, via optimizing promotional capabilities and showing a good understanding of markets’ landscape, competitors and business trends for the country execution activities and to ensure campaigns and projects will be properly planned, executed, optimized, measured, and reported.
The person could be also exposed on cluster level (Europe Eastern & Israel) with a keen focus on enabling synergies between markets, to set up cluster readiness and drive the cluster strategy for specific product or therapeutic area. She/He will work closely with several stakeholders across the entire internal cross-functional team in Romania and in the cluster, Region or Global level.

Responsibilities

Innovating the way we collaborate and interact within other cluster markets by working with customers and creating state-of-the-art marketing programs for Organon portfolio.

Constantly stay ahead of the latest marketing trends and technologies to guide long-term strategy while always staying focused on the execution of efficient campaigns.

Ensure that deliverables are based on the key components of agile way of working, collaboration within an international team is seamless and decisions are data-driven, all to improve Organon’s position and business results.

Building and maintaining long term relationships with experts, key opinion leaders and other recognized stakeholders for the business success of market and cluster.

Establishing brand/s strategy and country tactics, creating and assessing business cases, measuring investment and sales force effectiveness, the success of campaigns, implementing measures for continuous optimization of sales forces and business effectiveness in a market and promoting the switch to the digitalization of processes in the marketing environment with the help of technology.

Project management within different marketing channels e.g., emails, websites, approved emails, headquarter emails, remote meetings or other.

Role reports to the Marketing Director and operates as a close sparring partner for the Country Sales Lead, other Marketing Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access and commercial, non-commercial staff.
Internal Collaboration

Strong collaboration with Commercial, Market Access, Sales and other respective teams to support corporate and business strategy.

Proactive support to properly manage the product or portfolio, with the approach aligned to product life cycle management and recognized business opportunities

Consulting of the finance department for forecasting purposes, pricing assumptions preparation.

Assures an involvement of all relevant key stakeholders to develop and implement Organon EEI marketing strategies.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
-
Completed studies in marketing, business or a comparable qualification.
-
More than 5 years of professional experience leading marketing programs, concept development, implementation, and control of marketing activities (digital activities) at a pharmaceutical company or agency.

Experienced in work across different therapeutic areas including any of them:, Contraceptives, Fertility, Respiratory, Dermatology, Cardiovascular, Pain, Migraine, Bone, Neurology, OTC products and in a competitive, crowded business environment.

Highly proficient in data-driven project management of marketing initiatives and strong analytical skills, the ability to solve complex problems and drive change.

High level of understanding of customer engagement opportunities & strategies in the traditional face-to-face, digital landscape and e-commerce.

Creative and have a good understanding of customers’ needs and new trends, evolution with a core drive to innovate and experiment with marketing campaigns.

Empathic interaction with people, networking, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills are important.

Ability to work in a complex and multi-market setting, across many functions and levels and across different customer types.

Education / Experience:

Master’s degree in life sciences, marketing, (para-)medical, economics.

Minimum 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Proven track record in Marketing or Medical would.

Experience in Digital Marketing

Fluency in Romanian and English.
This position requires readiness to travel across the country and Cluster - up to 10-20% travel
