Job Description

The Integrated Media Strategy team is responsible for partnering with internal brand and channel teams, as well as external agencies to develop full funnel paid media strategies across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. The customer is at the center of everything we do and our goal is to reach and engage target audiences through both online and offline channels, while maintaining efficiency and driving sales. We work closely with cross-functional teams such as Brand, Lifecycle, PMO, Finance & AnalyticsWe are media experts who are curious and passionate about driving change. We are rooted in analytics and are constantly learning about our customers in order to effectively reach them.  

  

A day in the life….  

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting ensuring channels are delivering on KPIs & OP-GMV goals regularly. 

  • Communicate paid media changes in our budget docs, to finance partners & analytics ensuring updated & accurate financials for month close and weekly reporting.  

  • Serve as POC for all Accounting and Finance month-end close deliverables 

  • Must have exceptional communication skills with our partners internally & externally  

  • Support campaign planning, statuses, brand POVs, innovation pitches & channel executional support & comms. 

  • Provide subject matter expertise to champion paid media best practices, educate marketing leaders on media optimization, and drive innovation and continued diversification & growth of media channels. 

  • Partnership with agency and channel partners to ensure cohesive paid media plan execution and reporting follow through. 

  

You have this if…  

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a paid media role inclusive of strategy, full funnel planning, and partnering with various teams on execution 

  • Driver of implementing process efficiencies and working cross-functionally within the organization; partner with project management, Brand, Ad Operations and channel partners to ensure that end-to-end processes are met. 

  • Support the development & management of full-funnel, multi-channel strategy by identifying goals, budgets, channel allocations, flighting, and messaging priorities with strategic alignment to initiatives.  

  • A problem solver: You have the ability to balance strategic thinking with excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. 

  • A reputation for your attention to detail – especially as it relates to financial acumen  

  • Ability to deliver on multiple projects with firm deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. 

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence required to discuss business updates with brand leaders & partners regularly. 

  • Ability to identify new ways to leverage online media to advertise and generate sales and/or new (young) customers. 

  • You’re curious - Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; working knowledge and working knowledge of Tableau (or similar data dashboards) is a plus. 

  • In-depth knowledge of paid media channels and how they work together, including but not limited to Paid Social, Affiliates, SEM, OOH, TV, Content, CTV/OTT, Audio, Display/programmatic, etc.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

$80,000-$155,000 AnnuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
