Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Specialist to join our Campaigns Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in: generating campaign bases; identifying promo qualifiers and awardees; and creating performance and conversion reports. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in querying and transforming data, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable campaign bases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Extraction and Integration:
- Pull data from various source systems and databases
- Perform base and opportunity sizing for different client segments
- Cleanse data as needed and document data cleansing activities
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all sources
2. Campaign Base Generation:
- Develop and maintain scripts for campaign base creation
- Join multiple data sets to create comprehensive campaign bases
- Implement version control for all scripts and document changes
- Apply controls specified in the Communications Plan and Campaigns SOP
- Participate in test blasts and conduct UAT to validate the accuracy of the comms send out
3. Leaderboard and Promo Qualifiers List Generation:
- Identify those who qualify to promos and incentives indicated in the campaign mechanics
- Publish and refresh leaderboards to provide participants a view of their current points, rankings, and what actions they need to do to meet a certain incentive
4. Performance and Conversion Reporting:
- Develop and maintain reports to measure conversion rates
- Aggregate data at client and segment levels
- Create visualizations and dashboards to present campaign performance
5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Maintain detailed documentation of all processes, scripts, and methodologies
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices
- Conduct peer review
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in marketing or campaign analytics
- Proficiency in SQL, Redshirt, Python, and AWS
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of data structures and database management
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of marketing analytics and campaign management
