Welcome to Novonesis IT
As Senior Solution Architect with focus on the IT/OT area you will join the Enterprise Architecture Team, which consists of highly skilled architecture professionals, each with a specialty, but all with a focus on making sure that Novonesis delivers on our purpose “Better our world with biology”.

The position will offer you close collaboration with many stakeholders across the organisation and the possibility to become a trusted advisor challenging and championing both IT and business goals.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Leading the way in how we define our solutions, the way we use and reuse our technology platforms and the way we implement with great agility. Developing, contributing, and adhering to our solution architecture methodology; making it actionable and accessible across the organisation.
• Balancing business needs with technical constraints and overall strategic objectives for Novonesis.
• Being curious and taking ownership and responsibility for your work and suggest improvements where applicable.
• Getting the job done; designing and documenting IT solutions in Novonesis.
• Promoting the use of best practice patterns and reuse of existing technologies to create the best possible IT/OT landscape for Novonesis.
• Working alongside Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to define principles and reference architecture for IT/OT.
• Participate in, and help lead communities of practice in your areas of expertise.
• Understanding and documenting user stories, non-functional requirements and technical solutions.

To succeed you must hold:

• At least 5 years’ experience in working in the IT/OT layer implementing solutions that enhance production automation capabilities.
• At least 5 years experience working as a solution architect in a complex IT landscape (preferably biotech, pharma, life science or other research and manufacturing business).
• Proven experience with many technologies, including SAP, MS, AWS and many more acronyms.
• Experience with agile methods and events/ceremonies.
• Experience with GxP compliance and/or experience with Archimate is a plus.

• You understand that solution design is a function of risk appetite.
• You can navigate a large organisation, and learn and understand the different business units rapidly, as the need arises.
• You have excellent modelling and solution skills.
• You can communicate equally well with technical architects and business stakeholders.
• You are equally at home in your ability to work in a team and on your own.
• As a person, you are able to work across global cultural differences.
• You are passionate about personal development and take responsibility for it.
• You sharpened self-management skills that will help you navigate requests for your attention.
• You speak up and ask for help, and offer it to your peers.
• You speak and write English to full professional proficiency.
