Position Overview
Become a member and participate in forming several new Software Engineering Scrum teams joining the Civil Infrastructure Product Line Group in Krakow.
Our team develops Civil engineering software, like Autodesk Civil 3D, to help civil engineers during both the design and construction process.
We are looking for someone that is passionate and committed to working in an Agile team, has great attention to detail, skilled in the testing of desktop software APIs or scripting API using C#, and the ability to create and execute test strategies for the validation of complex software. You have a customer focus and the ability to drive quality in a predictable manner.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on how we design, build, and deliver our products to millions of professionals. You will work in a cross-functional team focused on building and maintaining software for various products and components. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of unique challenges which give you the chance to learn modern technology and grow your skills.
Responsibilities
- Support both manual and automated testing. Create scripts to support automation testing
- Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test it
- Responsible for developing and executing high quality test plans to deliver an amazing user experience
- Develop test strategies that are complete and concise
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, ongoing system integration, and periodic build verification tests as part of each product release cycle
- Find defects in features in development or products in production. Isolate, confirm, and log defects, and work with Agile Team to prioritize and fix them
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint retrospective etc
- Work with the Agile team at improving Quality Assurance processes and be an ambassador for quality
- Identify redundant tests scenarios and work on their automation
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Passion to improve product quality
- Customer orientated approach to Quality Assurance
- Attention to detail
- Some experience with software development in a commercial setting in a Scrum team
- Excellent team player - collaboration with the team is crucial
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipeline and Test Automation
- First or upper-second class degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Solid English knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C++ or Python is a benefit, on top of your C# knowledge
- Experience in complex software solutions and code bases
- Experience with Git or similar source code revision control systems
- Understanding of deployment methodology
