Senior Software Engineer

Our world-class team has delivered sites for over 35 brands and managed over 400 transactional eCommerce sites across 60 locations and six continents. 

The company has established a key Sofia technology team consisting of Software Architects, Software Developers, QA Engineers, Project Managers, and Technical Support Specialists as part of a global expansion strategy. 

To support this strategy, we are currently seeking talented individuals for the role of: 

Senior Software Engineer 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. 

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. 

• Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation. 

• Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 

• Utilise AWS services to deploy and manage applications. 

• Work with MySQL databases to design and optimise queries. 

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and code reviews. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development. 

• Proficiency in React and Node.js. 

• Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda). 

• Solid understanding of MySQL and database design principles. 

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
