Position Summary
The Senior Software Engineer influences the long-term evolution of web technology for the country’s first tech-driven healthcare staffing platform.
Responsibilities/What You Will Do
- Build web services, APIs, and integrations to enhance the platform and make Nomad faster
- Write clean, extensible code, and improve the architecture, frameworks, and toolkits used to build and maintain a stable and nimble technology stack
- Implement best practices for clean, extensible code
- Develop features and improvements to Nomad Health systems in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
- Actively participate in the discussion on the architecture, frameworks, and toolkits used to build and maintain the product
- Own the architecture, frameworks, and toolkits used to build and maintain the product
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Collaborate within Product and Engineering to devise features, set priorities, strengthen architecture, and clarify requirements in a lean, agile organization
Qualifications/ Skills - What You Will Need
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Full-stack development experience
- Prefer experience with Javascript/React/NextJs and Python
- Experience with web application performance
- Experience with writing automated tests
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with great organizational skills and proven ability to thrive in a fully remote organization working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.

Compensation for this full-time position is between $135,000 to $180,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amount employees can earn during their time in the role. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on geographic locations, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
