We are looking for a passionate full-stack Senior Software developer to be part of our Engineering Accelerations Solutions team to work on the development of our end-to-end product environment solutions at ADI. In this role, you will apply your skills for the development, deployment and support of our software tools, techniques and methods to enable and improve the productivity of the product development community across ADI, and primarily work on our register map solutions suite which is widely used by ADI engineers to capture the IC design register specifications, manage these specifications across product lifecycle spread across different continents and automated methods to generate next generation chips using automation built around our register map specification software.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible to define and drive new feature requests for our register map software suite actively engaging with stakeholders, customers, and other Software engineers
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality software product suite for register map specification management, verification, and in-house automated code generation tools for IC product implementation.
  • Assist in various other software projects in PLA involving complex web based microservices and event-based systems.
  • Identify bugs, and improve existing features of the software in React, TypeScript, NodeJS, C++, Python, code base etc. working with senior developers located in the US, Europe and India.
  • Develop prototypes, validate new ideas, and enhance automated build routines to deliver best-in class software solutions and ensure the success of internal customers
  • ​Develop intuitive UI/UX for various operations in desktop applications as well as involving web backend services, and develop integrations to various S/W systems using REST APIs

Minimum Requirements:  

·        At least 5-8 years of experience developing enterprise software in one or more high-level, object-oriented languages such as C++, Python, TypeScript, React etc. 

·        Experience working with the Go programming language along with knowledge of various Go frameworks and tools 

·        Experience using and developing RESTful APIs, Microservices 

·        Deep understanding of distributed systems and large-scale software architectures  

·        Knowledge of Python, Node.js and TypeScript 

·        Experience in Database design and implementation using MySQL/PostgreSQL 

·        Excellent analytical, written and communication skills  

·        Good understanding of testing methodologies like unit testing, functional testing, performance testing and Integration testing 

·        Good understanding on system monitoring, observability, metrics and logging 

·        Minimum experience of 3 or more full SDLC for web application projects.   

·        Familiarity with Agile best practices for the full software development process   

·        Demonstrated extensive experience with task and defect tracking tools (Example. Jira)  

·        Demonstrated competence in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes  

·        Very Strong grasp of version control systems – Example. P4, Git, SVN, Bitbucket, Gitlab   

·        Experience with Build & dependency management tooling – Maven, Gradle, etc 

            

Good to have:  

·        Experience working with Cloud technologies such as AZURE, AWS  

·        Working experience in building Developer platforms using frameworks like Backstage or any other
