Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable software solutions for AI/ML-driven network intelligence products. 

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and TypeScript. 

• Implement and maintain microservices and serverless architectures using AWS cloud services (Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, etc.). 

• Develop and deploy ML/AI models and data pipelines, working closely with data scientists and ML engineers. 

• Ensure high-performance data processing and storage, utilizing AWS services such as Redshift, Athena, and Glue. 

• Collaborate in the PoC development cycle, transitioning experimental solutions into production-ready systems. 

• Maintain best practices for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and integration. 

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure system efficiency and reliability. 

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS, focusing on cost-efficiency, security, and scalability. 

• Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate) when necessary. 

• Ensure security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption for cloud-based applications. 

• Optimize AWS resource utilization, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness. 

• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to develop machine learning pipelines and real-time inference systems. 

• Implement data processing workflows for feature engineering and model training. 

• Contribute to the development and optimization of AI models, ensuring scalability and efficiency in production. 

• Develop solutions for real-time network insights and anomaly detection, leveraging AI-driven analytics. 

• Work closely with the Product Owner to refine requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups). 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, DevOps engineers, and cloud architects. 

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing. 

• Stay up to date with new technologies, AI/ML advancements, and best practices in cloud computing. 

• Troubleshoot complex system issues, ensuring high availability and performance. 

• Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring clarity in architecture and implementation details. 

• Ensure source code management best practices, using Git and following CI/CD guidelines. 

• Explore new frameworks, libraries, and methodologies to enhance development efficiency. 

Basic Qualifications 

• Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.  

• At least 8 years of active professional experience in software development. 

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, data intelligence, or cloud-based solutions. 

• Proficiency in Python, with experience in developing scalable, cloud-native applications. 

• Experience in other scripting languages is a plus. 

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Redshift, and Athena. 

• Experience in Databricks is a plus. 

• Experience developing microservices and serverless applications. 

• Strong understanding of machine learning workflows, data processing, and AI-driven insights. 

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). 

• Experience working in SAFe/Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams. 

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills. 

• B2+ English proficiency, with strong communication and teamwork abilities. 

• Experience working across time zones and cultures. 

• Strong ownership attitude. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in the networking, telecom, or cybersecurity industry. 

• Familiarity with Wi-Fi networks, mesh topologies, and standards (e.g., IEEE 802.1X). 

• Experience developing and deploying large-scale, distributed cloud services. 

• Strong knowledge of data engineering, ETL processes, and big data analytics. 

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Kibana, etc.). 

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate). 

• Background in high-performance computing, real-time data processing, or AI-driven automation. 

• Proficiency in prototyping AI/ML applications. 

• Experience working across time zones and culturally diverse teams. 

• Proven experience in designing and implementing the Lakehouse Architecture.
