Job Title:  Senior Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park (Hybrid)

COO D&E is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. Impact & contribution

Lead the Case Management Capability in providing flexibility to meet the needs of Case Management projects, offering services from the bottom (infrastructure/ software) to the top (business casing/ POC/ solutioning) or individual expertise (design/ built/ test/ run).

Roles & Responsibilities:

You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities

• Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams

• Structure project team for success incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organisations

• Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers       

• Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements.

• Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, directions, and best practices.

• Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with programmers and other IT staff and non IT functional areas

• Provide specialized expertise and development using Java, JEE and Pega Platform

• Analysing systems to provide system support and recommendations for development.

• Advising on corrective actions actions required to fix business critical systems (code, databases, reference data, interfaces, security implementation, framework)

• To understand, coach and ensure best design and quality software practices.

• Developing Unit Testing framework and automating System Testing.

• Ensure effective engagement with stakeholders for the provision of system support.

• Expert troubleshooting of implementation, environment and deployment issues.

 Essential Skills:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in building, designing Pega applications.

• Experience  in designing and developing Pega BPM applications using Pega .

• CCSA certification(mandatory)

• Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) strongly preferred.

• Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skill

• Excellent track record of delivery within large projects

• Excellent executive communication & presentation

• Experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management)

• Experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence,

• SingleSignOn, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services etc

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
