Senior Software Development Engineer

Autodesk seeks a highly motivated Senior Software Development Engineer who specializes in developing full-stack applications. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team that builds Autodesk’s Identity Access Management Platform. The service is one of the key business enablers serving millions of Autodesk customers daily.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively as a member of the self-organized agile team that builds, owns, and runs the web application and cloud service.
- Own and lead the front-end development, adhering to UX guidelines.
- Build responsive UIs that work across multiple form factors (web, native desktop, mobile, etc.).
- Contribute to all aspects of cloud service development, including front-end, back-end, DevOps, and quality.
- Assist in the operation of the service, including monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.
- Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into elegant implementations.
- Use current system behavior to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of scalability, reliability, usability, and security.
- Advocate for the service within the organization to help product teams integrate the service.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
- Relevant software engineering experience.
- Expertise in developing web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.
- Excellent understanding of basic principles of computer programming.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, .NET, Java, Python.
- Solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns, along with a strong grasp of cloud design paradigms.
- Proven ability to write maintainable and reusable code.
- Expert-level experience in building services with high performance and high availability at internet scale.
- Commitment to quality, including security and performance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualification
- Willing to continuously learn new technologies and driven to adopt best practices.
- A problem solver, innovative, adaptable, inclusive, impactful, humble, courageous, accountable, pragmatic, and self-motivated individual who takes the initiative and ownership of projects.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Experience leveraging or contributing to open-source projects.
