As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for a team of Software Engineers having as mission building and supporting enterprise applications. You will also contribute to the extended Sr Software Engineers team and work with direction from the Senior Members or management but work independently.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading system engineers, front-end developers, back-end developers, and testers to implement solutions and extend shared platforms.
- Acting as a member of the Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices.
- Applying principles of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ITIL and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI (Configuration Item), Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
- Capturing system level requirements by brainstorming with Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses & Product Owners, identifying the scope of the work, providing initial estimates, and supporting the same with solid analysis.
- Delivering codes that meet quality standards and deliver desired functionality using the technology selected.
- Building and supporting business features, understanding performance parameters, and assessing application performance.
- Building and supporting enterprise integration flows through OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) framework to enable application requirements.
- Building and supporting low code applications (MS PowerApps).
- Engaging in technical discussions; participate in technical designs.
- Managing and supporting existing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) hosting team applications portfolio.
- Managing and supporting existing CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions to smoothly automate code delivery process.
- Working to improve incident reduction, simplification, process excellence, security, and compliance.
- Being responsible of periodic reporting to management to share team performance and defined KPIs (Key Performance Indicator).

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a degree in information systems/technology, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Have good experience in software engineering.
- Have professional experience as Technical Leader or similar, with deep focus on system design expertise.
- Have Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.
- Have Demonstrate experience developing web applications with back-end tech such as Java, Spring Boot, RESTful, GraphQL, JMS, JUnit.
- Have experience with front-end technologies such as TypeScript , Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, Angular, Karma, RxJS.
- Have experience with database tools & languages (SQL, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring Data).
- Have Experience with software life cycle management such as Maven, Git, CI/CD.
- Have Familiar with Cloud Services (AWS and Azure)
- Have Demonstrated solid leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with fluency in English.
