Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our new development team in Krakow. You will have a strong background in C++ and C# programming, a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, and excellent communication skills in English.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Product Owner, Experience Designer, and other engineers to help Autodesk users imagine and design a better world by contributing to the development of Autodesk Revit - the world-leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
The position is based in our Kraków office, employing a hybrid working model, and involves collaboration with a globally dispersed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve existing functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of software components.
- Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years’ experience in an OOP environment in C++, developing native Windows applications.
- Knowledge of user-interface development based on MFC and/or WPF.
- Experience working in a very large code base, including enhancing and resolving issues in pre-existing code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) and proactive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of .NET/C#.
- Familiarity with, or an interest in learning, front-end development technologies: JavaScript, React, HTML, and Material-UI (MUI).
- Working experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software or related applications.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
