What we’re hiring for:  

We are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Senior Software Engineer for our United States team based in Chennai, India

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:  

• Code, test, analyze and review code for accuracy, functionality, performance,and security 
• Participate in established Software Development Life Cycle which is broken up into sprints and help support product operations  
• Provide Technical Leadership and mentoring other engineers with technical competence 
• Communicate technical information, both written and verbal, effectively to other team members, teams and customers of varying technical experience 
• Work collaboratively with other team members, teams and customers on projects with a positive and energetic influence  
• Document solutions with developer documentation, flow charts, UML diagrams, comments and clear code 

What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:  

• 9+ years of experience working as a Java developer with 7+ year of experience in Java Enterprise software development
• Extensive experience working with stacks and platforms such as:  
• Java and JVM memory and performance tuningMastery with Lambdas, Generics, and other data structures such as Map, List, Set 
• Spring Framework or equivalent 
• Commonly used Design Patternsand strong algorithm knowledge 
• Groovy scripting 
• Concurrent programming knowledge, e.g. Actor Model, Java CompletableFuture, and different types of thread pool Executors 
• Hibernate or equivalent JPA frameworks, tuning query performance. 
• Restful Web Services 
• MySQL, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL or NoSQL datastores such as Cassandra 
• Optional: ReactJS, Javascript
