We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to ensure the quality and integrity of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, extensive knowledge of Dev & QA processes, and familiarity with tools such as Postman, TestRail, and Jira. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in deeply analyzing requirements, writing detailed test cases, establishing robust dev & QA processes, and have a strong knowledge of automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, and Robot Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding and to identify testable scenarios.
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Utilize tools such as Postman, TestRail, and Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and requirement analysis.
- Establish and enforce strong QA processes to ensure consistency, reliability, and high-quality output.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, Gherkin on Python and Robot Framework.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues to prevent recurrence and improve overall product quality.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Extensive knowledge of QA processes and methodologies (Manual & Automated
- Proficiency in using Postman, TestRail, and Jira.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deeply analyze requirements and specifications.
- Excellent skills in writing detailed and comprehensive test cases.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining robust QA processes.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and Robot Framework.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
