Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Iselin, New Jersey.

Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., is hiring for the position of Senior Software Engineer to provide application leadership and support to internal applications and integration support to vendor-built applications. The role requires technical knowledge of Object­Oriented programming and demonstrated skills in JAVA and Angular. Responsibilities include Secure Application Development. Design, develop, and maintain solutions to support key business needs. Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software. Mentor and provide technical leadership to teammates. Engineer Web Pages, Core Components, and Common Services in alignment with development models, languages, and standards. Produce design documents, and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments. Debug and document existing systems through code analysis. Contribute to Application management activities such as Business continuity, SDLC activities, technical refresh support, critical surveys, analysis, platform releases, patching, vulnerabilities, and system management support for Technology mandates. Work effectively in an Agile Scrum of Kanban environment. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software development.

  • Experience using Java, J2EE, Angular/ReactJS, and Spring
  • Experience with database platforms DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server
  • Experience with high volume transactions processing, automated testing, and APIs
  • Experience with version control or source code repositories such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, or XML Spy
  • Microservices experience
  • Agile experience

Salary: $151,819 - $164,400
