Adtran is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python and AWS to join our team. You'll work on Intellifi® MeshView, a Cloud-based SaaS platform for the Internet service providers that helps manage, optimize, and monetize their services. Our application leverages AWS Lambda (Python and Node.JS), AWS IoT Core, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch. The frontend is built with Angular UI. You will be part of a cross-functional Scrum team based in Poland.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and enhance the application

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders

Perform high and low-level software design and implementation
-
Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions
-
Fix software bugs and support incremental (bi-weekly) releases

Provide technical guidance to other team members
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-
At least 6-8 years of software development experience
-
Professional experience with Python (AWS Powertools, FastAPI/Flask, boto3)
-
Experience building microservices on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3)

Knowledge of Node.JS/TypeScript
-
Strong understanding of IaC (AWS CDK) and CI/CD
-
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
-
Proficiency in Polish (C1) and English (B2)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with web frameworks (Angular, React) and languages (TypeScript, JavaScript)

Experience with AWS IoT and large-scale AWS systems

Technical Leadership and mentoring experience
