Your daily responsibilities as a Senior Software Engineer will be:

• Offering technical insights to the team.
• Contributing to architectural and technological decisions throughout project delivery.
• Mentoring team members daily, fostering growth and knowledge expansion.
• Encouraging team empowerment and innovation in problem-solving.
• Actively participating in code reviews and to maintain code quality.
• Actively participating in agile ceremonies.
• Identifying, reviewing, and mitigating technical risks, issues, and impediments.
• Providing technical feedback and reviews to the team.
• Addressing technology-related impediments to development.

Required Skills and Experience

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a proven track record in .NET technologies, database management, and Angular development, alongside strong problem-solving skills, and adaptability. 

The following skills and experience are necessary:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with proficiency in MS SQL Server, C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, WPF, WCF, and WinForms.
• Extensive experience with MS SQL Server and Entity Framework (Database First), including advanced skills in query optimisation, performance tuning, and database design. 
• Strong back-end development experience using C#, with hands-on knowledge of building and maintaining APIs, services, and applications.
• Front-end development experience using Angular, with a solid understanding of JavaScript and modern frameworks. 
• Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative software development.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and work effectively within a team.
• A proactive mindset, capable of challenging existing processes, and deliver innovative solutions. 
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams, actively participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 
• Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. 

The following skills/qualifications are advantageous:

• Knowledge of FinTech and Forex domains. 
• A willingness to learn technologies and frameworks as project needs evolve, with a flexible and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
