Job Description
The KartaView team is an established team responsible for providing our users with crowdsourcing imagery collection tools. We make an impact by enabling our map making users to provide accurate and up to date information about real world locations. Our team is made up of mobile engineers working on our Android apps running both on mobile and our custom IoT devices, iOS app and web developers working on the frontend and backend components of the project. If you are looking for a challenging project and you are eager to continuously improve yourself, then you should join our team!
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take full responsibility for developing our imagery collection Android apps. We believe a successful candidate is thorough and has experience using map and imagery related technologies, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. In return, you will get an opportunity to contribute to a project affecting the lives of millions of drivers around the world.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Android development experience
- Fluent in the Kotlin programming language.
- Sound knowledge in OOP concepts
- Working knowledge of several architectural approaches including clean architecture like MVVM.
- Experience in writing maintainable and testable code, including API design, unit testing and UI testing techniques.
- Experience with a track record in working with Enterprise Grade Software.
- Experience with CI/CD
- Highly accountable and takes ownership of one’s own work.
- A natural desire to discover and learn new technologies and processes
- Pro-active, take initiative and responsibility.
