About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Technology /Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in implementation of ,Java, Identity and Access Management solution (from multiple vendors like SailPoint, IBM-ISIM, Saviynt , OIM )
  • 4+ years of experience using Java, JavaScript, XML.
  • Should have experience in SCIM and REST APIs.
  • Ability to design and integrate new IAM solutions with existing infrastructure.
  • At least one or more certifications such as IAM tool specific certification.
  • Knowledge of information security concepts. Deep working knowledge of at least one IAM tool.
  • Experience with operating systems and relational database management systems such Linux, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
  • Experience with issue and change management and with associated tracking tools (Remedy, Service Now, etc.) to meet defined SLAs.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Rapid Application Development methodologies.
  • Has leadership skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Banking Industry knowledge

Job Expectations:

  • Technical Analysis of Business Requirements and Design interpretation – Ensuring understanding of design in response to business requirements and is able to interpret and successfully implement solutions
  • Technical Process Management – Ensuring all development and implementation activities follow technical process for compliance purposes.
  • Release Management – Coordinating and building deployment processes to enable management of code/configuration releases.
  • Configuration and Development – Completing all assigned configuration and development as per the requirement.
  • Quality Assurance Management – Triaging and correcting testing defects.
  • Technical Process Documentation – Creating and maintaining development and deployment documentation.
  • Architecture - Strong technical architecture and product knowledge, ability to take business requirements and translate them into technical design
  • Strong passion, ability and desire to stay “hands-on” in the processes.
  • Emotional intelligence – Ability to strike the right balance of leading and listening.
