What You Will Do

We are building the next generation of the Moveworks Enterprise Copilot ecosystem, which includes multiple rapidly growing web products such as our Copilot, Search experience, and Enterprise Stakeholder applications. As a Frontend Infrastructure Engineer on our team, you will play a key role in designing, building, evolving, and maintaining the core frontend infrastructure that supports all web development at Moveworks.

You’ll work with modern frameworks like Node.js, React, Webpack, and Bazel, ensuring our applications are optimized for developer efficiency, coherent design systems, performance optimization, scalability, and seamless integration across the technical stack. Your contributions will directly impact Moveworks web product suite.

What You Will Do  

  • Design and implement frontend infrastructure solutions, focusing on developer efficiency, performance, security, observability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Improve JS build, libraries, dependency framework, and development systems for frontend development, using technologies such as React, Node.js, Webpack, Bazel, Whimsical and others.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and backend teams to ensure smooth and efficient full-stack development.
  • Ensure security best practices in frontend code and infrastructure, managing dependencies and proactively mitigating vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, such as build, security, scalability, debuggability, and etc, across development and production environments.
  • Maintain and update web servers and UI libraries and manage related environments to ensure developers productivity and production system health.
  • Operate in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, taking full ownership of your work and execute fast with good visibility.

What You Bring to the Table

  • BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 5+ years of professional experience building large-scale web applications preferred.
  • Passionate about infrastructure excellency, developer productivity, and a clean ecosystem.
  • Expertise with the modern frontend ecosystem, with a deep understanding of major Web UI frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, NodeJS) and a track record of delivering large-scale web applications.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards, both for yourself and others, when working with production systems.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with backend or non-engineering teams who are not familiar with frontend technologies.
  • A passion for continuous learning and readiness to step outside of your comfort zone to solve new challenges independently.

Compensation Range: $150,000 - $249,000

*Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans. 
Ultimately, in determining pay, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, the role’s scope and complexity, the candidate’s experience and expertise, and other factors.
