Job brief
We are looking for a motivated, full stack Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, and ship our software solution.
The role of the Senior Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative and performant software that complies with coding standards and technical design. The role further entails contributing to the larger team with mentorship, technical discussion, epic shaping, and candidate assessment. It is also critical to actively participate in the company mission to create and scale the world’s most impactful way to innovate.
What You'll Do
- Work with Product and Design to ensure code written solves real user problems
- Write well-designed, tested code
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and deploy existing systems
- Evaluate user feedback, and participate in solution design
- Actively participate in code reviews
- Mentor less senior engineers
- Assess new candidates
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a full stack Software Engineer
- Five or more years experience developing interactive web applications
- Direct experience shipping software in Go and Typescript
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Postgres)
- Experience with test-driven development
- Strong technical communications skills
- Ability to understand a broader business and stakeholder context
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
