ABOUT THE TEAM
The Command, Control, and Communications Platform (C3P) team is responsible for building the foundation of Anduril's technology ecosystem. We deliver reliable, extensible, and scalable management of the operating picture that bridges common understanding across all partner systems including ground control stations, towers, and other robots. Our platform plays a critical role in enabling client applications to understand shared situations, submit tasks, and control the distribution of tracks, assets, and geo-zones across the Lattice Mesh. The C3P team also maintains the SDK framework that exposes core Lattice functionality to 3rd party developers, making our technology accessible and extensible.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a C3P Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining distributed systems that form the backbone of Anduril's AI-powered Lattice OS. You will design and implement software that enables real-time data processing across thousands of streams, creating a unified 3D command and control center. This will require expertise in distributed systems architecture, software development, and testing methodologies. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and implement distributed systems that enable real-time processing of data from multiple sources
- Develop reliable and scalable software components for the operating picture management
- Create and maintain APIs and SDKs that allow third-party developers to integrate with Lattice OS
- Ensure system performance meets the demanding requirements of military applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various components of the Lattice ecosystem
- Test and validate software solutions in simulated and real-world environments
- Optimize code for reliability, performance, and security
- Contribute to the architecture and design of next-generation C3P capabilities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience with building distributed systems
- 3+ years of experience with software design and architecture
- 5+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
- 5+ years of experience testing and launching software products
- Strong understanding of system performance, reliability, and scalability concepts
- Experience with API design and implementation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of experience in a technical leadership role
- Experience building software systems that interact with and understand physical constraints of the real world
- Experience developing with Go
- Knowledge of AI, computer vision, or sensor fusion technologies
- Background in defense technology or related industries
- Experience with real-time data processing systems
US Salary Range
$168,000—$252,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
