About the role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Follow Up Boss, you'll build fully-fledged platforms using a range of different technologies. You'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features! You'll build clean and functional code on the front- and back-end. You'll collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure system consistency and to create a great user experience. You'll write reusable and maintainable code that is secure and scales well. You'll help ensure code quality with automated and functional testing along with peer review. Ultimately, your work will have a direct impact on the stability and user experience of our products.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $158,200.00 - $252,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

We are looking for a strong Senior Engineer who is used to taking on and driving initiatives and bringing new ideas. Someone who holds their code to high standards, is customer-focused, and who is not afraid to give feedback on the product. Proactive communication is critical as you will collaborate closely with our engineering team and broader product organization to craft extraordinary experiences for our customers that are consistent, robust and pleasing to use.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in front end technologies, we use React, JavaScript, CSS.

  • Expertise in back end technologies, we use PHP, Aurora MySQL, Postgres, Redis, to name a few.

  • Strong understanding of RDBMS and SQL.

  • Proficient understanding of Linux.

  • Exceptional time management skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
