What you’ll do at Elekta

At Elekta, we don’t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. As Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be designing and implementing the user workflows for our radiation therapy products and contribute to the innovation of tomorrow’s radiotherapy solutions.

Your team is part of an international program that consists of a diverse group of specialists in mechanical engineering, electronics, physics, embedded software, and more.  

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you’ll be an essential part of our dynamic, cross-functional team, contributing to every stage of the development lifecycle—from gathering requirements to design, implementation, testing, and documentation. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate and Innovate: Work alongside talented engineers and stakeholders to build cutting-edge software solutions, influencing both front-end and back-end development.

• Drive Technological Advancement: Evaluate and implement the latest technologies, methodologies, and products to ensure we're always at the forefront of the industry.

What you bring

We are looking for a creative and smart new colleague, who works best in teams. You have a can-do attitude and a problem-solving mindset. The team works with software solutions that guide the users through the radiotherapy treatment workflow.
