We are looking for a solid Software Development Engineer in Test that can help us build and advocate Quality in all stages of the development life-cycle. ASAPP is growing fast, and our Test Infrastructure needs to keep up with it. Part of achieving that is through Engineers that can solve our current problems by writing tooling in different technology stacks. Your decisions and your code will have a tangible impact on the scalability of Engineering.
What you'll do
- Join a cross-location Engineering Team that continually discusses new and improved ways of improving Quality
- Get the chance to coach engineers in other teams on their testing strategies
- Write tests, frameworks, and tools in Python, Javascript (Cypress)
- Write or maintain pipelines with CircleCi, Jenkins, Codefresh, and Spinnaker
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes as we're pretty hands-on with our testing infrastructure
What you'll need
- Solid experience with Test Automation on different testing layers and strategies (e.g. E2E, Component, Contract, Unit)
- Solid programming experience
- You have worked before with dev teams doing CI/CD, and you have been involved in the maintenance of pipelines
- You have collaborated closely with Dev and Product Management
- knowledge of Go is optional, but not mandatory
