Software Engineer – Full Stack Application Developer - AVP

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 8+ years of application development experience overall. This is an onsite position in our Quincy Location.

As a Full Stack Application Software Engineer - (AVP) you will:
- Write application UI and backend code
- Develop reusable components
- Consult with technical team, SQA and business analysts on aspects of functional specifications
- Identify and resolve application issues and bugs
- Produce quality code within a reasonable timeline
- Participation in design review and code review
- Provide assessments of task duration, complexity, progress, and risk to team leads
- Software configuration and build management
- Design, develop and implement Unit and Scenario testing for new functionality under development
- Provide system documentation
Key experiences required for the profile are:
- Full Stack Application Development using Java, JEE, JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS/ReactJS/Angular) High scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation
- Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development skills
- Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST and API design for extensibility and portability
- Experience debugging distributed systems with high data loads
- Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- Java/JEE, Spring, Spring microservices, JSON, XML, REST, Distributed System, RDBMS, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns, JavaScript
- Experience writing SQL queries/Stored Procedures for Oracle SQL or any another Relational Database
- Experience with Microservices - API/Event Driven Architecture/Development
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and toolsets
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Advanced development experience with REACT JavaScript
- Advanced development experience JAVA development
- Advanced experience with Oracle DB and SQL
- Experience in Java, J2EE, Servlet, and JDBC
- Experience with API development
- Experience with Spring Framework and REST Web Services
- Experience with code repositories and code management (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level
- Ability to multi-task and to take the initiative when needed
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
- Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and quality assurance

- Experience in the Financial Asset Custody Services Industry

- The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented individual and have a minimum of 8 years of professional software experience.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
