Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer (.NET Core) to join our innovative engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing both short- and long-term technology solutions that drive the success of our applications, systems architecture, and overall technical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring over extensive experience utilizing .NET technologies in a dynamic Agile environment, alongside proven leadership and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

Create and modify innovative short- and long-term technology solutions by adapting new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and infrastructure.

Develop robust program logic for new applications and analyze or modify logic in existing ones while ensuring successful implementation of system improvements.

Code, test, debug, document, and implement software solutions throughout the full software development lifecycle in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Participate in design sessions using Object-Oriented Design principles and ensure adherence to coding standards, perform code reviews, and manage source control

Engage in SDLC frameworks such as Scrum, utilizing tools like Jira to track progress and ensure timely delivery.

Foster an environment of continuous improvement by constantly evaluating and integrating new software engineering practices.

Review system requirements and business processes to align software solutions with organizational goals.

Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance the efficiency and quality of team deliverables
Your Profile
- 7+ years of software development experience, particularly using C#, .NET 6.0, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and database development in MS SQL Server.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, unit testing, and operations.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with Object-Oriented Design.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, messaging software, interoperability techniques, and standards.
- Experience in Cloud Technologies, particularly AWS, is a plus.
- Background in developing software for the financial services industry is advantageous.
