About the Role
As Scientist/Senior Scientist, you will be responsible to expressing/purifying/characterizing antibody like molecules for therapeutic programs.

You are a motivated laboratory scientist who wants to demonstrate excellence at the bench. You have multiple years experience in antibody discovery/expression and proven track record of solving difficult problems. You enjoy working as part of a team and collaboration comes naturally to you. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where pushing the boundaries of what is possible is the norm.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in protein purification of antibody like molecules
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology, Biochemistry, or similar field and 5+ years industry experience
- 10+ years of experience in Biologics discovery and engineering
- Expertise in mammalian and bacterial expression systems
- Hands on knowledge of multiple analytical techniques including, SEC HPLC/UHPLC, BLI/SPR, Flow Cytometry, and similar techniques
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques including cloning
- Experience setting up and configuring lab facilities and processes
- Proven contribution to therapeutic development and selection is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with researchers from diverse fields, including computational and experimental biologists, and provide scientific guidance, support, and leadership as needed
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior research associates
Preferred Qualifications
- Discovery of novel and biologically relevant biologics highly desirable
- Cell free expression systems experience advantageous
- Experience with mass spectrometry is highly desirable
- Experience using LIMS and Benchling systems
- Experience with liquid handling, robotics, and workflow automation
Compensation
The specific compensation package for each role depends on factors including experience, qualifications and level. We anticipate the range for this role to be $133,000 to $182,000 per year.
