In this role you'll make an impact by:

Working in an agile application research team to develop new enzyme solutions for grain and bioprocessing industries.

Responsible for technology transfer from the region to the globe, and support optimizing the existing technology or developing better solution to meet the customer needs.

Leading, planning and executing project or task to meet milestones within the timeline.

Generating deep technical insights on substrate, process and application. Identifying technical gaps and developing solution to close the gaps.

Developing new application assays in the lab to help evaluation of new innovation ideas.

Working closely with marketing, technical service and sale on plant trials, process scaleup, and product adaptation in the field.

Communicate the findings and conclusion to relevant stakeholders and customers.
To succeed you must hold:
-
A PhD, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biochemical/Agricultural engineering, Biotechnology, Food Technology or related field.

Industrial experience in related field is a must. Related field includes starch refinery, distilling, yeast, and corn, wheat, sugarcane processing et al.

Experience in enzyme technology is appreciated.

Track record of successful technology transfer or new product development is preferred.

Strong ability to drive and execute projects and tasks within the timeline.

Experienced in developing application assays by scaling down industrial application from field to the lab or by translating concepts and hypotheses into experiments.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication skills, great ability to present or deliver clear messages to team members, stakeholders and customers.

Expected salary range: $95,000-$130,000
