Are you passionate about seamless customer onboarding, optimisation and troubleshooting? We’re excited to be hiring a new role for the IDEXX Veterinary Software team, a Salesforce Engineer for our Vello product.
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain seamless integrations between Salesforce and our suite of SaaS products. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, APIs, and integration tools, with a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and innovative solutions. This role is pivotal in streamlining customer onboarding, enabling self-service signup with automated lead generation, and integrating billing automation. By ensuring smooth data flow and operational efficiency, you will play a key role in driving business success and enhancing the customer experience.
Ideally we would like this role to be hybrid onsite in our Westbrook, ME office but we are also open to remote.
This role will sit within our IDEXX Veterinary Software product portfolio. With a focus on software solutions, we are dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pets, people, and livestock around the world. A bit more about the role, you will:
- Design and implement Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain custom Apex code, APIs, and Lightning Components for integrations and data synchronization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including, developers, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions that meet business needs.
- Leverage Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) and middleware tools.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to Salesforce integrations, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
- Maintain secure authentication methods, such as OAuth, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Connected Apps.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during integration processes.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and integration tools to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and team development.
So what are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information systems or an industry qualification equivalent.
- 6+ years' experience as with Salesforce.com
- Proven technical people influencer.
- Experience with principles and practices related to cloud technologies.
- Previous experience in SaaS environment
- Clear understanding of CI/CD
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Systems and/or software design.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies (such as React), and cloud backend technologies (such as GoLang, Typescript, .NET, Ruby, Java).
- Agile processes including Scrum, Kanban, and/or others.
