Job Description
Salesforce Engineer at Checkout.com
Passionate about the Salesforce technology and striving for innovation, value, sustainability & quality, sums up our Salesforce Center of Excellence team. All engineers are empowered to challenge strategic decisions and are expected to be vocal around leveraging every feature which Salesforce has to offer. We believe in delivering sophisticated solutions in a ‘simple’ way. Our engineers are expected to analyse key architectural options like building VS buying & custom code VS OOB configuration. Our Salesforce org and its team is constantly evolving, and we look for self-driven & experienced engineers to come onboard.
Many ongoing and upcoming technical projects here at Checkout.com are focused around the scalability and optimisation of Salesforce platform, so if the challenges and growth-opportunities facing a fast-scaling, technically focused company interest you, hopefully you can make a great impact here!
What you’ll be doing:
- Interact with technical and business operations and end-users to develop scalable applications and architecture within Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Implement, design, and support Salesforce based cloud application solutions for internal business teams
- Provide technical recommendations on design and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements and desired functionality
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
Qualifications
- Salesforce enterprise experience
- Salesforce development expertise
- Must possess Salesforce Platform Dev 1 & Admin certification
- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce technical architecture
- Extensive knowledge of Apex, Salesforce APIs, Lightning Web Development (LWC)
- Solid understanding of design patterns and engineering best practices, including Apex Enterprise Design Patterns and Separation of Concerns
- Working knowledge of source control using Github
- Working knowledge of SFDX, Scratch Org and Unlocked Packages
- Experience working within an Agile development framework
- Experience with enterprise integration frameworks (experience with event-driven integration patterns and working knowledge of AWS is a plus)
- Hands-on Javascript experience
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Component (LWC) is a must
