We have an exceptional opportunity for a senior level position as a Senior Sales Representative to lead the growth of our New Business book in the Benelux region.
The Benelux Senior Sales Representative's New Business main objective is to onboard new clients for FactSet across the Benelux market. This is done through actively prospecting the market for similar FactSet type clients and uncovering new areas of growth where FactSet is not present.
Job Description
The Benelux New Business Sales Team is a key driver of ASV growth for EMEA at FactSet.
To capitalize on the growth opportunity, we are seeking an ambitious, hardworking and motivated New Business Sales Representative.
The Senior Sales Representative will partner closely with the EMEA New Business Sales Director and Benelux Regional Director to drive and execute a business plan to accelerate the acquisition of new names in the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic partnerships via the development of C-level relationships. Strong contribution to ASV generation in the region will be expected, as well as the execution of a sales strategy to maximize FactSet’s growth and market share in this important market.
This role is the opportunity to shape strategic deals with FactSet contents, applications, analytics, and digital solutions with new prospects in the buy and sell-side space made of large institutional asset managers, asset owners, PE Firms, and banks.
Responsibilities:
- Heavy prospecting into a list of qualified prospects (cold calls, emails).
- Understand the structure of the Benelux market and the personas we sell into Develop a prospecting strategy for key high priority prospects.
- Maintain a list of 50 high priority prospects.
- Work closely with the product specialist teams including across Front Office and Middle Office and Research to drive pipeline across business units.
- Work closely with FactSet’s Pre-Sales team to run successful trials of FactSet’s products and services.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of a variety of workflows and how our strategy should differ depending on the firm-type or industry.
- Demonstrate FactSet’s value proposition relative to our competition.
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry and 3 years in a sale role
- Enthusiasm, resilience and a strong sense of initiative as well as a hunter mentality ( not deterred by rejection)
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Broad and up to date knowledge of the financial industry including trends and market demand. Especially good understanding of AM/ Buy side workflows
- Proven ability to identify sales opportunities with new clients
- Ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders, both at clients and within FactSet
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations and long sales processes such as RFPs
- Spoken language : English, Dutch/French is a plus
