What’s on offer?
We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to join our team delivering Sydney Road Asset Performance Contract working closely with Transport for NSW. You will be responsible for ensuring an effective safety culture, by aligning our “Living Safely” ethos, and driving compliance with WHS legislation. Day to day you will:
- Develop and continuously enhance the safety culture through the delivery of risk-based safety strategies;
- Coordinate the implementation the safety system and report on periodic safety KPI’s;
- Conduct inspections and monitor close out of safety hazards;
- Coordinate implementation of and monitor corrective actions, and liaise with regulatory agencies/project stakeholders as required.
To be successful in this role you will have previous safety leadership experience in a similar role in a construction industry environment working on major civil infrastructure projects. You will have a qualification in Health and Safety with a strong commitment to a Living Safely culture which is our top priority at Fulton Hogan. Additional to this you will be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills.
