Senior Rust Engineer

Remote position (only for professionals based in Argentina or Uruguay)

RYZ is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer to work with one of our partners on cutting-edge blockchain projects within the Solana ecosystem. We seek an experienced engineer who will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing high-performance, secure applications in Rust. You will contribute to core blockchain systems, ensure scalability, and build innovative solutions that advance decentralized finance (DeFi) and other blockchain-based technologies.

As a Senior Rust Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Rust and blockchain to drive forward new and existing projects, significantly impacting the development of decentralized technologies.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Rust.

- Proven experience working on blockchain projects, ideally within the Solana ecosystem.

- Deep understanding of smart contracts, on-chain programs, and blockchain technologies.

- Expertise in low-level systems programming and handling performance-sensitive tasks.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Familiarity with cryptography and security best practices in blockchain development.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects.

- Knowledge of Solana-specific frameworks and tools like Anchor.

- Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.

- Prior experience in designing token economies, staking mechanisms, or NFTs.

- Exposure to multi-chain development or cross-chain communication protocols.
