🧑‍💻 About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Researcher to help shape our company strategy by bringing deep customer insights into decision-making. As a marketplace business, understanding both our customers and partners is crucial to our growth. You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, uncovering unarticulated needs, and helping teams make customer-centric decisions.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in tech-driven B2C marketplaces, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working autonomously. You’ll not only conduct research but also build scalable research processes that enable the company to move faster and smarter. If you’re passionate about mixed-methods research and democratizing insights across an organization, we’d love to hear from you.

Note that this is a contractor position ideal for someone who's available 40 hours per week.

👷🏾‍♀️ Where you come in

• Lead end-to-end research across product, design, and strategy teams, applying both qualitative and quantitative methods.

• Identify and scope research needs across multiple product domains, ensuring we focus on the right problems.

• Formulate research strategies that uncover new opportunities, emerging customer needs, and behavioral patterns.

• Support usability testing, from study design to execution, ensuring product teams get fast, actionable insights.

• Develop and refine research deliverables, experimenting with new formats to fit different stages of product development.

• Build scalable research processes, enabling teams to conduct their own research where appropriate.

• Evangelize research insights, making them accessible and actionable for cross-functional teams.

• Drive initiatives to improve research efficiency, quality, and impact across the organization.

✅ Your profile

• Proven experience in research roles within a tech B2C marketplace.

• Expertise in mixed-methods research (qual & quant) with strong knowledge of when and how to apply different methodologies.

• Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to identify impactful research opportunities.

• Autonomous and proactive, able to set up research processes from scratch.

• Experience influencing strategy and integrating research into company-wide decision-making.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, making insights compelling and actionable.
