ABOUT THIS ROLE
Come join a thriving, successful team enabling innovation within the financial services industry. Apex is seeking an Relationship Manager to build strong relationships with our business partners and colleagues, serving as a vital point of contact for Apex Clearing customers.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships at the executive and strategic level with our clients
  • Develop annual business plan for client revenue and asset growth
  • Ensure that clients are enabled to grow by continuously informing them of any new developments, products, and all available services as they relate to their client business needs
  • Create a partnership between the client and Apex as a firm in general
  • Offer support to our clients and respond to client's needs in a proactive manner
  • Drive and track client requests to meet yearly goals and objectives
  • Keep relationship pulse metrics up to-date and relevant
  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on clients' financial performance and revenues on a monthly basis
  • Collaborate with clients to document, prioritize, and report operational and technological issues and requests
  • Retain and manage each of the assigned relationships
  • Ability to manage enterprise/top tier client relationships
  • Drive revenue generating opportunities through additional products, products, efficiencies for assigned clients
  • Drive coordination and product solutioning internally to help solve client problems


Required background experience:

  • 5+ years industry and clearing experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus
  • FINRA Series 7 & and Series 63 license preferred at time of hire (otherwise, candidates required to obtain within 90 days of initial employment)
  • Deep knowledge of their respective segment
  • In touch with industry trends and shifts
  • Exceptional follow-through and problem-solving skills
  • Displays a relentless focus on customer service and customer satisfaction
  • Comprehensive understanding of pricing and revenue drivers
  • Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker

Salary Range
$98,000-$122,500
The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
