Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develops, monitors, coordinates, and implements projects related with Healthcare Procurement System.
  • Investigates and communicates potential opportunities for process improvement as well as potential project initiatives in Healthcare Procurement System.
  • Preparing analysis for government officials at appropriate levels as they take decisions and develop policies that will affect Medtronic Business.
  • Works closely with the related functions (tender, pricing, CS&SC, etc.) to support with submitting and following-up with Medtronic negotiations, within the DMO program.
  • Works closely with Operating Units (OUs) in developing and delivering key messages to government officials and conduct their price negotiations.
  • Supports with document flow between Medtronic and Government Institutions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Graduate from Engineering and/or Economy, Business with 4+ years of experience in Health Economics, HTA, Public Health, Public Affairs, Government Relations, Sales/ Marketing and Tendering.
  • An excellent command of the English and Turkish, both spoken and written is essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A strong team player with initiative who collaborates well with internal/external partners.
  • In-depth understanding of payers, central procurement bodies and their value drivers in major accounts as well as trends in public procurement system.
