Why you want this job

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled senior QA engineer who has our company’s vision in mind, while understanding the technology we use, and the level of quality needed for a medical device.

In this position you will need a “can do” approach of making things happen on time and with the highest quality. You will work with many peers across the company and should be able to create a pleasant, productive and professional working environment.

You will work as an independent QA champion on a small team with varied strengths, focusing on the quality process and tests of the product the team is responsible for.

What you’ll do

  • Hands-on planning, implementing, and completing manual and automated testing, including API, end-to-end tests, front-end and back-end tests.
  • Led quality processes including finding defects, analyzing issues, assigning them to teams, and tracking their resolution.
  • Writing test strategy documents and comprehensive test scripts.
  • Collaborating with developers and product managers to achieve a high standard quality environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive growth-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude while continuously learning, acquiring new skills, and tackling challenges.

What you will need

  • At least 4-6 years of professional QA engineering experience in a high-end technology company.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of quality while working on regulated products under pressure and deadlines.
  • Excellent English skills in verbal communication, writing, and reading.
  • Confirmed experience with designing, writing, and driving test plans for distributed systems, covering web browsers, native clients, and server-side.
  • Strong knowledge of quality practices, testing tools and development workflow in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with REST API testing using platforms such as Postman.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead quality assurance projects from ideation to completion throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Nice to have

  • Work experience in the medical field and with medical regulations.
  • Experience working in compliance with regulated standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Using Jira as a tasks/bugs management system.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Previous experience and collaboration with test automation teams

We believe in our people. If you feel you are the right person for the position, we want you to apply, even if you do not meet all of the requirements listed above. If you are not sure, don’t hesitate to send us your information, we would love to hear from you!
