We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior QA Engineer to build and lead our quality assurance processes from the ground up. We're on the lookout for someone with a deep and practical understanding of software testing and quality assurance best practices. As a key member of our core product team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our innovative solutions are robust, reliable, and bug-free. Your Arena
- Design and implement QA processes and best practices from the ground up.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (both manual and automated).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure early detection of defects and advocate for best testing practices.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Identify and track defects, ensuring their resolution.
- Work closely with DevOps to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Provide QA documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Plan for future team expansion, setting the foundation for a scalable QA strategy.
Requirements
What It Takes:
SaaS experienced
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing - Must
- Proven experience in building QA processes from scratch, including test planning, automation, and manual testing strategies - Must
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Must
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar - Must
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and working with tools like GitHub Actions,Jenkins, or GitLab CI - Advantage
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner) - Advantage
- Experience in mobile application testing (iOS & Android) - Advantage
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum/Kanban teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.
- Ability to establish QA processes and integrate testing into the development cycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior QA engineers in the future.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
