We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation frameworks, scripting, and continuous integration practices. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality by developing automated tests, improving test strategies, and working closely with developers and QA teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
- Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify test cases for automation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar test management tools.
- Perform performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure best practices in automation testing.
- Continuously improve automation test coverage and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- [6+] years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
- Experience in working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, etc.).
- ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
